1. Country Clubs


•Have one or more lounges, restaurants and banquet facilities
•Banquet facilities are used for formal and informal parties, dinners, etc.
•High initiation fee
•Include two types of membership: Full membership & Social membership
◦Full membership: able to use all facilities at any time
◦Social membership: only allowed to use social facilities

  The Green Hong Kong Campaign launched by Leisure & Cultural Services Department is a campaign aiming to promote greening in the community and to enhance public awareness in greening aims through combining the ideas of leisure activities and environmental protection together , such as community involvement programmers and educational programmes.



For example , a green education and resources center was established in Kowloon park , providing free greening promotional activities and exhibitions on greening , it also provide guided visits and green workshops by appointment.

    





 Community involvement like community planting day and Hong Kong Flower Show are also good for gathering and stimulating public awareness of greening in daily basis.

  With the busy workload and fast pace life in Hong Kong , many citizens sacrifices their time for exercising to keep their body healthy. It has become a trend that exercise-based recreational and leisure activities is popular to all ages citizen in Hong Kong. Activities like “Hiking Scheme” , “Running for health ” and “ Dance for health ” were promoted to citizen , letting them enjoy the leisure and recreational and keep their health in the meantime.



  Fitness facilities are very commonly found in the public parks for citizens to strengthen their bodies and have fun.

  For indoor recreational activities , there is a trend that more parents are willing to spend time with their kids in museums and exhibitions especially in terms of the technology based because it can create many fun to their kids. It is always a good time for a family or a group of friends to spend time and have fun in these museums. The technology also assist in the booking of tickets of exhibition , museum , it offers more convenience to the citizens.



  For people who have not time to go out , technology-based recreational activities are also available at home , such as playing video games with family can also be very interesting and full of fun , today’s video games with body sensors are very common with the help of technology , it can simulate the game environment and make the game more real.
